Turning off one monitor screws up the display settings. First the hardware then I'll explain what happens. BFG GeForce 6200oc video card 256MB DDR Samsung 950B 19" LCD, digital connection Samtron 96B 19" CRT
Fresh install of Vista B2. The CRT is display #1. With both monitors on set the display to LCD as main monitor and extend the desktop to the CRT monitor. Turn off the power to the CRT, turn on the power top the CRT and it is no longer getting a video signal. Go back to the display settings and extend the desktop to the CRT. The display is back.
So...is there a way to turn off the device disconnect sensing for individual devices?
